OUR PROGRAMMES
COP Team
Research. Advocacy. Action.
Building on the momentum and insights gained from COP29, the newly established Palestinian Institute for Climate Strategy (PICS) emerges as a youth-led organization dedicated to climate justice, human rights advocacy, and environmental research. Rooted in the work of the Palestinian Youth Climate Negotiation Team (PYCNT)—whose journey and achievements are detailed in our COP29 Participation Report—PICS brings together frontline experiences of occupation, strategic partnerships with global networks, and collaboration with key allies such as the Human Rights & Climate Change Working Group. Our mission is to uplift marginalized voices, integrate intersectional justice into climate frameworks, and champion policy reforms that acknowledge both environmental crises and human rights realities. Through solidarity, research, and bold activism, we aim to redefine how climate advocacy is approached locally, regionally, and globally, ensuring Palestine’s lived experiences inform and transform international climate discourse.
